After graduation and before moving to Cornwall, some friends of mine opened a small silkscreen studio in Milan.
I wish I could have helped them a little bit more in setting up the whole thing but, before I knew it, I was already folk dancing by the docks of Falmouth.
Therefore I helped them in the only way I could: by making Le Raclet a new website.
This was my first site in Flash that was extensively making use of design patterns such as MVC, template and factory. Thanks to this I was able to redesign parts of the site months later without breaking anything and avoiding big headaches.
At the moment the website is driven by a XML file that Vera (the owner of the studio) patiently modifies each time a new work is produced. We didn’t expect to reach the amount of work that is now present on the site, so I will soon add a sparkling new database connected via AMF and a brand new design.
